This Kustom K200B-5 "Black Tuck and Roll" head and cabinet set from 1969 exemplifies the distinctive aesthetic and robust sound design characteristic of the era. Handmade in Chanute, Kansas, the 4-channel head outputs a potent 100 watts, providing ample power through its aesthetically striking black tuck and roll vinyl finish. Each of the head's four independent 1/4" inputs has dedicated controls for volume, reverb, bass, and treble. The unit does show signs of its vintage status, including wear and rust, and has "Ormandy" spray-painted on the back, indicating a storied history. The original Jensen speakers (P15LS and C15L) in the 2x15" cabinet assure a rich and authentic tone. Note that many screws have been replaced over the years, further attesting to its continued maintenance and use.
