This Fender '57 Custom Champ guitar amplifier is a superb example of a classic reissue, maintaining an excellent condition that makes it almost indistinguishable from new. Known for its historic role in creating the '50s era tones, this amp is a reissue of the 1957 Fender Champ and has been hand-wired with close attention to authenticity, including Fender Pure Vintage yellow capacitors and Schumacher transformers. It derives its power from a single 12AY7 preamp tube, a 6V6 power amp tube, and a 5Y3GT rectifier tube, all of which contribute to its impressive and touch-sensitive audio output when cranked up. The amp features a single 8" 4-ohm Weber Special Design alnico speaker that complements its simple yet effective single-knob control panel. The dual ¼" inputs accommodate a variety of instruments, extending its versatility. Additionally, it includes a protective tweed slip cover that has helped maintain its pristine condition. It has been professionally tested and cleaned, ensuring it is ready for immediate use.
