This Epiphone FT-570BL is a vintage acoustic guitar that presents a distinct, blonde finish. Crafted in the traditional style, this model was favored by folk and blues musicians during its prime. Despite its current poor condition, featuring numerous nicks, scrapes, and a high action needing a neck reset, this guitar retains its charm with a beautifully aged maple back and sides paired with a spruce top. The original hardware remains intact, and it sports a glossy, 3-piece maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard adorned with pearloid block inlays. Notably, the bridge has been replaced with a narrower bone bridge, and there is extra hole near the end pin, suggesting previous adjustments or repairs. Unique in its tonality, this guitar, though ideal for bench time restoration, could also serve excellently as a slide guitar due to its still appealing sound.
