This 1991 Alvarez Yairi DY-80 Canyon Creek 12-string acoustic-electric guitar combines excellent craftsmanship with the robust sound signature of a 12-string model. Made in Japan, this guitar features the reliable Alvarez System 500A pickup, making it versatile for both unplugged and amplified play. While it shows signs of use, including some surface marks around the sides and back, a previously repaired crack on the backside, and minor finish cracks near the bridge pins, these issues do not impede its overall sound quality or playability. The natural finish over a spruce top paired with rosewood back and sides adds to its aesthetic charm and tonal warmth.
