This used Ibanez PF150 in Cherry Wine shows significant cosmetic wear and structural concerns and is being sold *as-is*. Made in May 1979 at the Terada plant in Japan, this guitar is part of the PF (Performer) Series produced from 1979 to 1981, featuring a single-cutaway mahogany body with a birch top and a bolt-on 3-piece maple neck. Though iconic for its vintage Ibanez V2 humbuckers and Gibraltar bridge with Quik Change tailpiece, this particular piece has notable issues, including fret buzz—primarily in the first few frets—due to minimal neck relief. The truss rod is a single-action style and is currently very loose but functional; however, the neck remains stiff and straight without its use. Over time, the tension from the currently installed medium gauge 11s may allow some additional relief to develop naturally, though further adjustment from a qualified luthier may eventually be necessary. The guitar also exhibits tarnishing on the hardware, widespread scratching, and a visible finish crack near the knobs on the top. Despite this, all electronics function and the guitar delivers a powerful vintage tone through its original pickups. Has been cleaned, set up, and restrung by our professional technicians.
