Welcome to the pit. The HW-2 by Oneder Effects is not just a distortion pedal—it’s a brutal, two-headed beast forged in collaboration with Bo Lueders of Harms Way, crafted to summon the most aggressive tones in metal, punk, and hardcore. Whether you’re stomping onstage or layering riffs in the studio, this pedal delivers raw power, razor-sharp articulation, and endless tweakability.
Two Channels of Sonic Destruction
On the left, the distortion circuit is a high-gain juggernaut. It’s voiced to blend the characteristics of the heaviest amps in modern metal—tight, saturated, responsive, and absolutely devastating. Sculpt your tone with five illuminated sliders (yes, they light up when engaged), plus a Presence knob to tame the top end.
On the right, the Saw boost takes inspiration from the legendary HM-2 EQ curve—but without the baked-in distortion that often muddies tone. Use it to tighten, thicken, or completely annihilate your front end. Whether you’re after a slight mid bump for clarity or full-blown chainsaw madness, the Saw knob delivers. And there’s a sneaky internal trimpot for tweaking the highs and high mids, giving you even more control over your sonic carnage.
Designed for Battle
Whether you’re slamming this into a clean amp, stacking it with other gain stages, or doing it Bo-style—HW-2 into a dirty amp channel for pure chaos—the HW-2 is built to dominate. And with clickless switching, heavy-duty construction, and eye-catching Chicago-styled artwork, it’s as durable as it is destructive.
