The Peavey PV-1 Single Channel Diversity Handheld Wireless System (923.700 MHz) is a diversity wireless handheld microphone system which operates on the clear channel UHF 923.700 frequency. The proprietary compander circuitry yields a dynamic range of up to 120dB. The system includes a squelch control for locking out potential interference.
The handheld microphone is equipped with a neodymium cartridge designed to deliver high quality audio reproduction, minimal handling noise, and enhanced feedback rejection. The wireless transmitter is built into the mic chassis and utilizes a 9-volt alkaline battery for powering.
The diversity receiver allows for maximized reception range and dropout protection and features full LED indicators and both 1/4" unbalanced and XLR balanced outputs. Special circuitry designed for noiseless transmitter ON/OFF switching is also incorporated into the unit.
